Today’s Daily Prompt asks:
We all procrastinate. Website, magazine, knitting project, TV show, something else — what’s your favorite procrastination destination?
Procrastinate? Me? Nope. No can do.
If things can be done today, then it shall be done.
Even when I was younger, like 8, 9 years old, with small chores on the weekends, like sweeping the front yard, watering the plants, I do not procrastinate.
Instead, I sleep early. So I wake up early. All other family members are still fast asleep.
All calm and everything fresh with the morning dew, I do my chores.
Then after my Dad had made breakfast, I am free to do my things.
Besides playing outside with the kids in our neighborhood, mainly, I can be found writing in my diary. Everyday since someone gave me a Rainbow Brite notebook on my 8th birthday, I’d write on it.
Now, almost 30 years later, I don’t write in my diary that often (not everyday) anymore. Family, raising kids, work, and everything else has taken over (including this blog -haha!).
But writing has always and will be my journey — and destination.
