It’s Monday.
Harder to wake up.
Took longer to get ready.
Not to mention feeling tired already just thinking of all the cars lined up.
And just when I was getting to Metrolink Rancho Cucamonga,
A street and a half away the train I saw pulling in.
Three minutes earlier than usual.
Ran like hell!
But these legs just ran out of fuel
And didn’t win racing-for-the-train duel.

Yes, I do believe so. My legs failed me today. Perhaps it was the extra squat sets I did over the weekend!

‘My legs failed me today’! What a great sentence…exquisite…I may have to steal that one?

I know! Of all the days I wanted to be early for work! Ugh. Hate it that I miss the train on a Monday.

I’ve been taking the express train (going home) whenever I can and whenever I do – it’s always late! Sometimes almost 30-40 mins late! So much for being express.
So today, when it was a wee bit early, it wouldn’t even wait another minute to (or at least leave ON time) as what’s indicated per schedule!
