There was once a little girl
Who could read signs
Went to the train station and read,
“Warning: Stay behind the yellow line”
Went to the grocery store with her dad and
On the self checkout, the checkout-checker lady said, “I’ll be back in a sec.”
As if on cue, the little girl grabbed a Toblerone,
Ran it past the scanner and beeped,
It read “Toblerone $1.99”.
The lady checker wasn’t there to take it out now
The little girl knew her dad wasn’t keen on talking to the checker lady
The dad just sighed and surrendered,
“What the heck!”
There was once a (cheeky) little girl
Who could read signs
Went to the train station and read,
“Stay behind the yellow line”
