Red orange yellow
All the hues of a rainbow you know
Spun around like trying on a brand new dress
And now, look at you, you’re a mess.
Been through fog and low visibility
Handled more than your capability
Against strong winds you stood
Pushed back more than you should
You were more than my Brolly
You were my companion
More often than not
My weapon
Been stretched too far these spokes
Broken more than a wing
Endured many a swing
Have seen (and been with) too many blokes
Now I bid you adieu
You’ve served well
But now it’s due
For Brolly number two for its debut.

I’ve pretty much given up on umbrellas. They are so hard to deal with when it’s windy. I just do a hooded rain jacket. Glad you had a worthwhile relationship with yours in any case!

Because I don’t have time to go to malls (and dislike crowds), I purchased a hoodie online. But the hood was short! It covered halfway only. Total fail. Thus, toting the umbrella!

That’s weird! Online shopping is so convenient but sometimes you get stuff that just doesn’t work out. I would think a hoodie might get soaked anyway. I have a raincoat.
